Audace Sailing Team winner of 1001VELAcup regatta
Audace Sailing Team of the University of Trieste won the 1001VELAcup Trophy for the second year in a row: a regatta held in the waters of Monfalcone, from September 21st to 24th 2022.
The protagonist of this regatta was the innovative BAI Lina Rossa, who crowns a job begun in 2019. Indeed, the boats Dedalo, then Lina (made in linen fiber) were the first boats to be born, up to the new BAI Lina Rossa.
This skiff made too in linen fiber and epoxy resin, even lighter than last year’s prototype, is the result of the work of a team of students who takes care of every single detail: from design to construction, up to the development in water and sail racing.
